SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2009 

Hey Ya’ll,  

I’ll bet you thought I left town again right?  NO WAY!!!  

I apologize for getting behind in my Dribble AGAIN.

For this, we’ll be rolling Sept and October into one.

I could offer a couple sorry excuses but who wants to hear all that noise??? J    

I sure hope this Dribble finds everyone doing so great you just can’t stand it.

We still have a number of people on the sick list.

Some have been in the hospital, some having to stay close to home for bed rest etc… Let’s remember to keep all these friends in our prayers.

Oh BOY!  We turned out another OUTSTANDING group of bikes and riders again the last couple months. More than 100 but less than 500.

Actually, we have all been getting out as much as possible with the poor economy and the health issues in the group.  

Thanks to ALL that come out and support us each week.

We still have lots of fun rides and events coming up the next few weeks so keep the Wings ready to ride.  

Now would be a great time to remind you of our Chapter FUN DAY coming up Saturday, October 10th.

WHERE??  At The "PONDEROSA".  (Our home)

There will be games, great food, door prizes (including $$$$ CASH $$$$) music, fishing it you like (catch & release) and more FUN than you may imagine.     

We are still holding our dinner rides and other things are going on that's keeping us on the road and having lots of FUN.    

Did you hear who the latest person is to win the prestigious BONEHEAD AWARD?? J 

WELL, Roy Bridges (That would be ME) is the LUCKY winner and I  received this award with “a smile” at the last meeting. 

May as well smile, grin and bear it.  :-) 

Some say, "If your going to be dumb, you have to be tough". I must agree.

Now, your asking yourself, what did the dummy do this time?? 

I'll admit, it's kind of dumb to call a special staff meeting then FORGET to go.

I deserve this award and will wear it with great pride until the next mis-hap takes place.  AH HA!!  I think that has ALREADY happened.

I know you can’t believe it.  I can’t believe it myself.

Robert & Trish, Julian & Nita, Clarence & Pat, Glenn & Jane, Chuck & Karen, Carole & Frank and everyone else, continues to do an outstanding job and I appreciate it.  Without each of you, I would not make it so well with this job.  J    

Remember; keep checking this web site for all the great upcoming Goldwing events. There are a few coming up and every one of them provides good times and fun rides.  J   

I’ll end this month same as always.    

On behalf of the Officers and Staff of Chapter E-2, let me say “THANK YOU” for your support. Without each of you supporting us as you do, we would be sitting home bored stiff looking for something to do other than clean the bike. J    

Please allow ME to continue to say “THANK YOU” to the Officers, Staff and my sweet love, Irene.

It’s really them that do all the work.

I really would like to say again, all the E-2 staff is doing a fantastic job at setting things up and TCB’ing. (Taking care of business)  Without each of you jumping in and doing all the work you do each time we get together, we would not be functioning as the well oiled team we are. I appreciate you more than you may know. You have all had a part in keeping this chapter having fun and making it fun for Irene & myself.  

Remember to watch out for each other and watch the other guy; they are probably not watching for you.
